Return to Tomorrow
Damn it Kirk, didn't you learn anything from "The City on the Edge of Forever"? A man from the 20th century ends up on board, and Kirk considers not returning him because he's not gonna do anything important. But his unborn son is. Kirk's not that bright.
The Return of the Archons
You have got to be kidding me. Who knew Sulu was a quick-change artist? For once, Kirk shows some promise by not beaming down to a primitive and unknown planet in his uniform. Nice work, Kirk. Scotty manages to make the impossible sound plausible, McCoy gets brainwashed, Spock wears Andre the Giant's costume from "The Princess Bride" and Chekov isn't in the episode, which is a good thing because he probably would just tell us how Russia invented smashing windows. Oh, and Uhura does nothing remarkable. Again.
