In the Hands of the Prophets
The DS9 season 1 finale is possibly one of the most complex plots on DS9. A murder investigation, a conspiracy to kill a major Bajoran religous leader, protest against secular education in Keiko O'Brien's school, and the beginning of Vedek Winn's quest to be the next Kai.
